Film Synopsis

Dan Gilis, an American screenwriter living in Paris, has just been abandoned by his wife and must bring up his son Danny alone.  Legrand, a successful film producer whom he has worked with before, commissions him to write a script with an inexperienced director named Malcolm, insisting that it be something unconventional.  Gilis is reluctant at first to accept the commission but finally accepts it, having been persuaded by the personality of the young filmmaker.
