Patrick Timsit is a French actor and film director. He was born in Algiers, Algeria on 15th July 1959.

His best films as an actor include Coline Serreau's La Crise (1992), Francis Girod's thriller Passage à l'acte (1996), Michel Ocelot's Azur et Asmar (2006), Guillaume Ivernel's Chasseurs de dragons (2008) and Nicolas Cuche's comedy Prêt à tout (2013).
