Film Synopsis

Troubled by his past, adrift in a present that seems to offer him no bearings or consolation, Omar wallows in aimless melancholia, lacking both the energy and the inclination to make something of his life.  He fills his empty hours moping about town and drinking in nondescript bars, relieving the boredom with occasional meaningless one-night stands.  One day, his cousin Youmna turns up out of the blue.  Like him, she dreams of getting out of the rut and making a fresh start in life.  On the spur of the moment, Omar and Youmna hit the road and set out together on a wild adventure.  Their destination: the sea...
