Film Synopsis

Kubrick (so called because of his passion for cinema) has one ambition: to make his own film and win the Palme d'Or at Cannes.  But for a young man living in the working class suburbs of Paris is this a realistic dream?   Fate gives him a helping hand when his friend Toxic turns up with a lorry filled with cameras, lights and all the other paraphernalia needed to make a film (all stolen from a film set).  Scarcely able to believe his good fortune, Kubrick and his friends waste no time writing a script, casting the actors and recruiting technicians.  But try as he might, and despite the enthusiasm of everyone involved, Kubrick just can't put together the masterpiece he had envisaged making...
