Vive la crise (2017)
Directed by Jean-François Davy

Comedy

Film Synopsis

In 2022, Marine Le Pen stunned the world by becoming the President of France.  Three years later, she finally admits defeat - the job clearly isn't all it is cracked up to be.  Having lost his government post in the ensuing political turmoil, Etienne seeks whatever solace he can find in the capital's cafés.  In his ramblings his path crosses that of Montaigne, a philosophy teacher who has a Bohemian tramp-like air about him.  In no time, they become the best of friends, despite the fact they apparently have nothing in common.  In next to no time, the two men manage to attract a number of noisy dropouts, forming an odd group of assorted misfits and mavericks.  Applying Article 1587 of the Civil Code, which gives an individual the right to sample alcoholic beverages before paying for them, Etienne and his new friends embark on the party of their lives...
