Directed by Olivier Peyon

Drama
aka: Life Beyond Me

Film Synopsis

Sylvie has spent the last four years desperately searching for her son Felipe after he was taken from her by her former husband.  Her quest takes her across the Atlantic to Uruguay where her son is living, quite comfortably, with his aunt and grandmother.  Sylvie enlists the help of a man named Medhi to bring back her son to her.  Having inveigled his way into Felipe's household, Medhi finds that the little boy is perfectly contented with his life and does not speak a word of French.  When Medhi tells Sylvie that he hasn't the heart to disrupt Felipe's new life the distraught woman takes it upon herself to abduct her son herself.  She is prepared to risk anything in her attempt to take him back to France and resume her life with him...
