Film Synopsis
Nina finds herself alone by the side of the road, after being dumped by her
friends. She is about to get married to a man she has mixed feelings
about and is uncertain what her future holds for her. This is when
Julien suddenly enters her life. He is an aspiring screenwriter and
film director who wants his life to be like just his films. Improbable
as their encounter is, Nina and Julien soon discover that they are meant

The best of American film noir
In the 1940s, the shadowy, skewed visual style of 1920s German expressionism was taken up by directors of American thrillers and psychological dramas, creating that distinctive film noir look.
In his letters to his friends and family, Franz Kafka gives us a rich self-portrait that is surprisingly upbeat, nor the angst-ridden soul we might expect.
A wave of fresh talent in the late 1950s, early 1960s brought about a dramatic renaissance in French cinema, placing the auteur at the core of France's 7th art.
