Film Synopsis

After coming to terms with a terminal illness, Mona, an attractive woman in her late thirties, decides she is ready to die.  With the support of her devoted husband Daniel, a writer, she has opted for a programme of assisted suicide, to be administered across the border in Switzerland.  After leaving their darling eight-year-old daughter in the care of her grandmother, the couple set out for Lausanne and check into a hotel for what will be their last weekend together.  It is an emotional parting and whilst Mona is ready for death, Daniel is inwardly traumatised by the impending separation from his beloved.  Back home in France, their little girl has no idea that she will never see her mother again.  Just how will Daniel break the news to her?  How will he be able to cope without his wife - the wife he helped to kill?  Love is tearing him apart...
