Film Synopsis

Auguste Chantilly leads a disciplined life in the country, watching over his pupil, the young Arlette.  But, unbeknown to anyone, he leads a double life.  In the town, he enjoys a far more carefree existence, under the identity Hubert.  When Arlette meets Hubert, he tries to pass himself off as Auguste's brother, a deception which leads to no end of trouble and misunderstandings...
