Tant qu'il y aura des femmes (1955)
Directed by Edmond T. Gréville

Drama

Film Synopsis

Judging by appearances, Professor Sylvain is the very model of the respectable family man.  No one would ever imagine that such an upstanding citizen could be capable of marital infidelity, and yet for some time, unbeknown to anyone in his entourage, this untarnished pillar of society, this impeccable academic has been pursuing a clandestine love affair with a much younger woman.  Confident that his secret is safe, Sylvain resumes his amorous liaison with his lover during a congress in Clermont-Ferrand.  How tragic that the whole affair should be exposed by a simple mix up of train times!  Before he knows it, the unfortunate professor finds himself driven from the family home, his respectability now looking as if it is permanently in tatters...
