Film Synopsis

On the borders of Siberia, Grigory succumbs to the charms of Tamara, a beautiful country girl, to the extent that he forgets the young woman he is supposed to marry.  Overtaken by his passion, he is drawn into committing a crime that ruins not only his own existence, but also the lives of those who love him.
