Before the war, the wealthy couple Monsieur and Madame Boisleroi lived a comfortable life in their château whilst their son Jacques courted Genevičve, the daughter of their estate manager. When war is declared, the estate manager becomes an air captain, Boisleroi ends up having to watch over the railway lines...
