Film Synopsis

1940. Maman Titine is a poor but attractive Jew.  Her life is one of hope and uncertainty.  She has five children who are as boisterous as they are unpredictable.  Her favourite is her 13-year-old son.  He is beautiful, clever, brave and sensitive.  Today, Meyer has become Professor Lévy, one of the world's leading heart surgeons.  One happy evening, he is celebrating his birthday when he collapses with a heart attack.  His entire life flashes before him...
