aka: Why I Did (Not) Eat My Father

Film Synopsis

Édouard, the eldest son of the king of the apes, is expelled from his tribe for being too puny.  He grows up far away, in the company of his friend Ian, and being endowed with a rare gift for invention, he discovers fire, hunting, love and even hope.  His dream is that one day he will be able to share what he has discovered with his own kind, and guide them towards a more civilised way of life, where one doesn't eat one's father...

The best of British film comedies
