Film Synopsis
This is the story of a perfectly ordinary, well-adjusted family living in the north of France - well, almost. The father, a pharmacy dispense, is an habitual drunkard whose main hobby is brutalising his family. His wife is addicted to sleeping tablets and wants nothing better than to run away and pursue an incestuous relationship with her son, Bernard. The latter has no time for school and spends his days with a fisherman on the high seas. Oh, and there is also a mentally handicapped daughter...© James Travers
