aka: Mortal Sin

Film Synopsis

Teresa's one overriding ambition is that her son Jacy will have a better life than she has had.  It is a goal she has been wedded to since her son was born, and Jacy shows his gratitude by running away from home when his mother embarks an another love affair.  For a while, the young man amuses himself with a succession of short-term, meaningless liaisons with a number of women.  But then he meets a somewhat backwards sugar mummy and manages to leap several rungs up the social ladder by marrying her.  Of course, his social climbing mother is delighted by this happy turn of events - it is just what she wanted for her dear little boy.  Now she can devote herself to her own pursuit for happiness, which she believes she can find in the company of a sympathetic schoolteacher who has fallen madly in love with her...
