Film Synopsis
Sybille is a 16-year-old girl who likes nothing better than to read the books she is forbidden from reading, books which she steals from bookshops when no one is looking. One day, Alex Thorpe, a publisher, catches her in the act of purloining a book. They soon become lovers and he suggests writing a book about their relationship, whilst respecting Sybille's anonymity. The book, Néa, becomes a bestseller but Alex opts to end his relationship with the teenager. She takes her revenge by accusing him of rape...© James Travers
