Comedy / Musical

Film Synopsis

Willy Régis is a popular singer who has both fame and fortune but has yet to find the thing he yearns for most: true love.  Determined to find someone who will love him for himself, and not for his wealth and celebrity, he attempts to pass himself off as an ordinary young man.  He strikes up an acquaintance with an old street musician and sings for him.  Willy takes an instant liking to the old man's granddaughter and is soon head over heels in love with her.  When the girl discovers Willy's real identity she gives into despair and threatens to kill herself.  The singer returns to her just in time, to be reunited with the woman he has been looking for all his life.
