Ma cousine de Varsovie (1931)
Directed by Carmine Gallone

Comedy

Film Synopsis

Archibald Burel, a banker, has known for some time that his wife Lucienne has been cheating on him.  He probably wouldn't have minded so much if his wife's lover hadn't been his best friend, Hubert.  Deciding precipitant action is called for if he is to save his marriage, he persuades his Polish cousin Sarah, in Paris for her holidays, to seduce Hubert.  The plan does not go as planned.  First, Archibald falls in love with Sonia, then Sonia becomes madly in love with Hubert.  The end result of this outright fiasco is that Lucienne wins back her lover, and Archibald is left all alone, as his cousin, tired of this muddle, has quit the scene and gone back to Poland.
