Les Ex (2017)
Directed by Maurice Barthélémy

Comedy

Film Synopsis

The whole world knows that Paris is the city of lovers, but it is also the city of broken relationships - and broken hearts.  Here are six couples across the generations who are trying, with varying degrees of success, to move on from a disappointment in love.  40-something Antoine is so downhearted after his bust-up that he feels sure he has renounced love forever.  Meanwhile, Serge's budding love affair is put in jeopardy by unwelcome intrusions from the annoying ex of his latest girlfriend.  Whilst Didier mourns the departure of his wife from his erstwhile trouble-free existence, a priest, Father Laurent, finds himself in the invidious position of having to officiate at the wedding of his former fiancée Julie.  As he waits patiently for his ideal soul mate to enter his life, a young taxi driver named Greg contents himself with the companionship of his ex-partner's dog.  If only it were as easy to forget as it is to fall in love...
