Film Synopsis

During the Second World War, Fanny, a Jewish girl of twelve years, has a temporary safe hiding place from the Germans, which she shares with her sisters Erika and Georgette.  With their parents a long way away, it is up to Fanny to take charge of the situation, and when their hiding place looks as if it may be discovered, she leads the girls and several other children on a long flight across Nazi occupied France.  Their destination: the Swiss border.  On the way, Fanny and her friends encounter numerous pitfalls,  but luck appears to be on their side.  Will friendship and good humour be enough to see the group of fleeing children through as they make their desperate bid for safety...
