Directed by Jacques Perrin, Jacques Cluzaud

Documentary
aka: Winged Migration

Film Synopsis

Migratory birds have to travel thousands of miles each year if they are to survive.  Across forests, oceans, polar wastelands and deserts they fly, facing not only natural threats such as extreme weather conditions but also the activities of man - hunting, industrial pollution and oil-spills.  Each year, these magnificent flying creatures of such astounding diversity must participate in one of Nature's great miracles, migrating from one continent to another in the face of the cruellest adversity...
