Just when he is about to join the Israeli army for his military service, Joseph discovers that he is not the biological son of his parents. It turns out that he was swapped at birth with Yacine, the child of a Palestinian couple living on the West Bank. This revelation comes as a shock to both families and compels them to re-evaluate their convictions, their values and their identities.
