Le Coeur à l'ouvrage (2000)
Directed by Laurent Dussaux

Comedy / Drama

Film Synopsis

Bruno is proving to be quite adept at making pornographic films but his ambition is to make a proper film - one with real characters, a real plot and real dialogue.  His producer Françoise agrees to let him make his film, Le Coeur à l'ouvrage, after he secures a grant, but he makes things difficult for himself by casting in the leading roles Chloé and Julien, whom he had previously employed on his X-rated films.  Adding to their real-life problems, Chloé and Julien find the experience of making a serious film very taxing, and they end up having to take acting lessons because speaking dialogue is not something they are familiar with.  How much easier it is to make a porn film...
