Film Synopsis

Every evening, Edouard, a radio presenter, freely dispenses advice and comfort to his listeners when they ring in to pour out their hearts.  When Edouard offers the same service to his friends the results prove to be disastrous.   His best friend Eric is thrown over by Louise, who takes up with a writer, Landrieu.  Eric moves in with Vera, a young Brazilian woman, who falls madly in love with him.  Meanwhile, Josef and Gloria, a married couple, have each taken a lover.  As he attempts to patch up his friends' turbulent love lives, Edouard is himself thrown into despair when his own sweetheart, Lotte, abandons him for another man...
