Film Synopsis

At a fairground on the outskirts of a small town in the south of France, a 30-something woman named Sarena sells candy-floss whilst her younger brother, Ravi, takes little girls for rides on a dwarf pony.  Their home is a modest camper van, which they share with their authoritarian father, a bed-ridden old Russian who is always sick and grumpy.  One day, Ravi meets and falls instantly in love with Mathilde, an attractive young heiress who lives some distance from the town, in a fine residence anchored in a beautiful natural setting.  A lonely orphan with no friends of her own, Mathilde cannot help being attracted to the wild young immigrant, and she is equally fascinated by his sister.  On impulse, she invites them to stay with her at her house.  For Sarena and her brother, this appears to be the start of a fairytale come true...
