Hénaut président (2012)
Directed by Michel Muller

Comedy

Film Synopsis

Pierre Hénaut is a reputable politician from the provinces who, against all expectations, finds himself in the running for the Presidential election.  As things are at the moment, he has no chance of winning.  He has what is politely known in the trade as an image problem.  To improve his chances, a communications agency is hired and before he knows it Hénaut is being subjected to the mother of all makeovers, all for the good of his career.  The agency's head, Thierry Giovanni, isn't daunted by the scale of the undertaking, and with the help of his dedicated colleagues Noémie, Fred and Olivier, he knows he can transform the mild-mannered, self-effacing politician into a likely future resident of the Élysée Palace.  In view of what is at stake, Thierry and his helpers are prepared to resort to any means, no matter how underhand, to ensure Hénaut wins the presidential prize.  This is, after all, politics, and politics is a very serious - and very dirty - business...
