Film Synopsis
On the eve of an important match between India and Pakistan, India's best cricketer, Viraj Sharma, mysteriously disappears. The authorities then receive a video tape from someone who claims to have kidnapped the cricketing ace with the intention of returning him just before the match in two days' time. Not sure whether to take the message seriously, the authorities enlist the help of a hard-bitten cops, Kabir Shergill, to hunt down the kidnapper and rescue Sharma within 36 hours. Shergill is assisted by a rookie cop Junaid Ansari who lacks experience but has some useful local knowledge. The investigation that ensues will test the resources of both men to the limit, and there is so much at stake - India's cricketing reputation for one...© James Travers
