Film Synopsis

As a human resources executive with an important food-processing group Emilie Tesson-Hansen is an unqualified success.  As a human being, she has more than a few shortcomings - and these could well bring about her downfall.  When a 40-something manager named Dalmat begins showing an interest in Emilie she coldly repels him, with the result that he ends up by committing suicide on the company premises.  Emilie is an easy scapegoat for the man's death and she soon finds the net closing around her as her superiors turn against her.  Even her boss, Stéphane, appears more than willing to see her convicted and sent to prison, a convenient sacrificial lamb.  Betrayed and embittered, Emilie fights back to save herself.  This she does by revealing to a works inspector the dubious business practices employed by her company...
