Film Synopsis

Despite living in the crime-ridden ghettos of Marseille, Sofiane is a gifted student with a bright future ahead of him.  Suddenly, his priorities change when his drugs trafficking brother is shot dead in a violent confrontation between rival gangs.  Sofiane's one thought is to avenge his brother's death, and to this end he abandons his studies and enlists the help of an old friend who is now a criminal big shot.  Having lost one son, Sofiane's mother is determined not to lose another in the same way, but matters are soon out of her control.  Sofiane is willing to do anything to find and punish his brother's killers, but once he is caught up in the maelstrom of violence there seems to be no way out...
