Boule & Bill 2 (2017)
Directed by Pascal Bourdiaux

Comedy

Film Synopsis

Little Boule and his canine buddy Bill could not be happier.  Everything seems to be going well for them and their household.  Boule's mother enjoys herself by giving piano lessons and his father has made a name for himself as a comic-book artist.  Just when everything is going so well troubles of all kind are about to come crashing into Boule's happy world.  First, the little boy has his first amorous encounter at school, and the confused mite doesn't quite know what to make of it.  Then a newcomer in his class begins to make fun of him, cruelly mocking his  fiery red hair and comical name.  Life at home takes a dramatic turn for the worst when Boule's father resorts to desperate measures to regain his inspiration, having being chastised by his employer for showing a distinct lack of creativity in his recent output.  The unfortunate artist has just one month to create a more original comic-book, and to do this he must dispense with the cosy pampered life that he and his family have grown accustomed to lately.  Boule and Bill are about to enter a whole new world, one where the sun rarely shines...
