Film Synopsis

It is September 1945 and the village where Sébastien and his faithful dog Belle live is celebrating the end of the war.  Now ten years old, Sébastien is awaiting the return of Angelina, but in vain.  Involved in an aeroplane accident, she has gone missing in the forests on the other side of the Alps.   The only member of the community who believes Angelina is still safe and well is Sébastien's grandfather César, who is resolved to do all he can to help find the missing woman.  In there efforts to locate Angelina, Belle and Sébastien will have to overcome numerous obstacles before confronting a terrible secret, one that will change their lives forever...
