Film Synopsis

Obélix's hopes of winning the beautiful Falbala for himself are cruelly dashed when her fiancé, Tragicomix, returns to the village.  When Falbala and Tragicomix are subsequently abducted, Obélix and his chum Astérix are soon on their trail, determined to rescue them from whatever cruel fate their kidnappers have in mind for them.  It is a long trek that will take them across the wastelands of Saharan Africa and on to the Colosseum in Rome...
