Paris in the 1970s.  Gilles is a young student who is caught up in the political and creative turmoil of his time.  Like his classmates, he is torn between his political commitments and his own personal ambitions.  Various romantic and artistic encounters take Gilles and his friends to Italy and London, as they set about making their own mark on an eventful period...
