Angry Indian Goddesses (2015)
Directed by Pan Nalin

Comedy / Drama

Film Synopsis

In present-day India, seven independently minded, thoroughly liberated women spend a week together at the house of one of them in Goa.  Here, they talk about their lives, their desires and their concerns about their amorous liaisons.  To a male onlooker, they would resemble a fearsome tribe of amazons, unfettered by the bonds of matrimony and family.  One night, one of the women, Frieda, drops her bombshell.  After some considerable soul-searching, she has made up her mind to get married!  This unexpected news takes her six friends by surprise and provokes further intense discussion on what a woman in modern India needs to be happy and fulfilled...
