Film Synopsis

In a small village in the south of France, Alex lives alone and occupies herself by restoring a dilapidated old building.  What keeps the thirty-something woman  going is the prospect that one day she will regain custody of her 14-year-old-son, who currently lives with his father.  Alex scrapes by, selling fruit and vegetables at the market place and doing work on building sites.  This is how she comes to meet Karim...
