On 2nd August 1990, Iraqi troops invade Kuwait under the orders of Iraq's
president Saddam Hussein. At the United Nations, India votes for sanctions
against Iraq and sets about evacuating over a hundred thousand of its nationals
from the country. Rather than save himself and flee to safety with
his family, hardnosed businessman Ranjit Katiyal elects to stay behind and
use his influence to help others to escape. In doing so, he will play
an important part in what will soon become one of the largest humanitarian
operations in history...
