Today's industrial wastelands and urban ghettos are the places that have spawned a counterculture whereby disaffected youth express their anger and their rejection of societal values through their music.  Stigmatised as savages and hoodlums by the ruling middleclass elite, victimised by the forces of authority that do not know what to do with them, today's urban youth have forged a new identity that ought to enrich, not threaten our society...
