Film Synopsis

In 1980, Soviet agent Andrei Borodin looks back to 1943, when he played a crucial role in thwarting a carefully calculated attempt by the Germans to assassinate the Allied leaders Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin and Franklin Roosevelt at the Teheran Conference.  Thirty-seven years on, Max Richard, the Nazi agent who failed to carry out the assassinations, is in hiding, with another Nazi, Scherner, determined to find him and punish him for his failure.  Max is presently living with a young Parisian woman named Françoise, and is blissfully unaware that his supposed protector is in fact in league with his ruthless pursuer...
