Film Synopsis
In the Basque Country, Ramuntcho is in love with Gracieuse, but the latter's mother is vehemly opposed to their marriage. When he returns from his military service in Indochina, Ramuntcho is appalled to learn that Gracieuse has taken the veil. Ramuntcho resolves to take his beloved away from her convent, not knowing that his suit is already lost...© James Travers
