Film Synopsis
In France just after WW2, a burned out song writer (Pierre Dudan) escapes reality by dreaming a story with a beautiful actress (Arletty) as a lady who takes children separated from their parents because of the war to a castle in a small village. He then imagines himself as a salesman fortuitously joining a travelling theatre group to impersonate Buffalo Bill in a drama. He steals money, escapes the police while in his costume and meets the children playing the Mohicans.© James Travers
