Olivier Marchal is a French actor, film director and screenwriter. He was born in Talence, Gironde, France on 14th November 1958.

His best films as an actor include Stéphanie Duvivier's Un roman policier (2008), Philippe Guillard's Le Fils à Jo (2011), Edgar Marie's crime-thriller Le Jour attendra (2013) and Alain Minier's Un p'tit gars de Ménilmontant (2013), and whose best work as a film director include 36 Quai des Orfèvres (2004), MR 73 (2008) and Les Lyonnais (2011).
