Biography: life and films

Francis Girod was a French film director, screenwriter and producer. He was born in Semblançay, Indre-et-Loire, France on 9th October 1944 and died in Bordeaux, Gironde, France on 19th November 2006, aged 62.

His best films as a screenwriter include Pierre Grimblat's Slogan (1969), Le Trio infernal (1974) and L'État sauvage (1978), and whose best work as a film director include Le Trio infernal (1974), Descente aux enfers (1986) and Délit mineur (1994).
