This film is another example of an interesting work that is unseen by the rest of the world. Somone should try and market a DVD of this film overseas.

Synopsis
The night his wife dies giving birth to his son Aurèle, the Count Savinien de Kerfadec adopts an abandoned baby girl, which he names Céline.  A short while later, he takes in another boy, Tarquin.  As the years pass, Aurèle and Tarquin become enemies, rivals for the affection of their beloved Céline.   It is 1793 and revolutionary France is in the grip of the Terror.  In the Breton countryside, the revolutionaries are waging a bloody war against the old regime, the Monarchy and the Church, who are supported by the Chouans, the peasant class.   Tarquin throws himself wholeheartedly into supporting the republican cause, but his zeal drives Céline into the arms of his rival Aurèle...
