Peter Cushing was an English actor. He was born in Kenley, Surrey, England on 26th May 1913 and died in Canterbury, Kent, England on 11th August 1994, aged 81.

His best films as an actor include Terence Fisher's crime-thriller The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959), John Gilling's thriller The Flesh and the Fiends (1960), Frankenstein Created Woman (1967), Kevin Connor's From Beyond the Grave (1973) and George Lucas's Star Wars (1977).
