Drama / History

Film Synopsis

In 1940, Paris is under Nazi occupation.  If the city is bombed who knows how many great works of art will be lost - the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Raft of the Medusa...  This is the matter that concerns two men who could not be more different - the director of the Louvre Palace, Jacques Jaujard, and Count Franz Wolff-Metternich, the man appointed by the Germans to protect France's historic art treasures.  These two men must work together to ensure the survival of the Louvre's priceless exhibits.
