Film Synopsis
In May 1940, the Nazi invasion of France is imminent. To save themselves, the inhabitants of a small village in the north of France take to the roads. Among them is a German boy whose father, opposed to the Nazi regime, has been imprisoned in Arras after lying about his nationality. In the confusion, the father is freed and sets about looking for his son, accompanied by a Scottish soldier who is trying to make his way back to England...© James Travers
