The Wild and the Willing is a British romantic film drama first released in Finland on 30th August 1963, directed by Ralph Thomas. Cinematography was by Ernest Steward and the film was scored by Norrie Paramor. It is based on a play by Laurence Doble and Robert Sloman and stars Virginia Maskell, Paul Rogers, Ian McShane, Samantha Eggar and Katherine Woodville. It has also been released under the title: Young and Willing.   It is a Betty E. Box-Ralph Thomas Productionfs production, produced by Betty E. Box and distributed by J. Arthur Rank Film Distributors. Location filming was in Bishop Grotteste College, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, UK.   It is a black and white film and runs to 1 hour and 50 minutes.
