Film Synopsis

Charlot, Jeannot and Robert are three friends who scrape a living as labourers at a shipyard in the southeast of France.  Nicknamed Smic, Smac and Smoc by their colleagues, they live together and appear to be inseparable.  But then the day comes when Smoc announces his decision to leave his two friends and get married.  Smic and Smac are shaken by this news.  Just how will they cope without Smoc's financial and moral support...?
