Film Synopsis
Billy Forster is a dreamer who always has his head in the clouds. Giving
up his day-job as a dishwasher in Hollywood, he moves to Texas and gets himself
taken on as a handyman at a reputedly haunted ranch owned by Tom Spielman.
Little does Billy know that his employer is a merciless bandit who goes after
unwary travellers in this remote spot, earning himself the nickname the Terror
of the Pampas. It isn't long before Billy is on good terms with Spielman's
adopted daughter Nelly and a Red Indian named Partridge-Eye. These
three succeed in resolving the mystery associated with the ranch by coming
to the rescue of Jim Corbett, a man being held a captive by Spielman.
Billy succeeds in realising his dream, to become a real-life hero, and he
ends up being elected sheriff of the district.
